Despite the sweltering heat, everyone at Hertha is going full throttle at the start – especially Sandro Schwarz (43).
On the second day of training, the new coach was always on top of the action, standing in the middle of the field, giving clear and loud instructions and demanding a lot of intensity from all players.
A lot of fans were happy – they had recently seen Felix Magath (68) so much steam and power on the Schenckendorffplatz. The magician saved Hertha from relegation.
Noticeable: Schwarz and his assistants praised the players after successful actions and were consistently positive. Newcomer Jonjoe Kenny (25/the only one in a long-sleeved shirt) also indicated his strength in duels, fought for several balls on the right flank and won many direct duels.
It’s starting well. Let’s see if it goes on like this.
