Three cars collided on the A7 between Zaandam and Purmerend last night. Thanks to a heroic truck driver, greater havoc on the road was prevented.
The accident happened near the Purmerend-Zuid exit. For unknown reasons, three cars collided and one car ended up in the guardrail.

A truck driver who drove behind the accident did not hesitate for a moment and placed his truck across the road so that other traffic could no longer pass.
Several people were checked in an ambulance. One person was taken to hospital.
