French luxury fashion house Hermès International has promoted two proven managers to its management team. On Tuesday, the company announced that Sharon MacBeath and Agnès de Villers would join the Executive Committee at the initiative of CEO Axel Dumas. Both should take their seats on the board of directors on March 1st.
McBeath has been Group Human Resources Director for the fashion house since June 2019. De Villers has headed the perfume division since 2015. Under her direction, the range was expanded to include cosmetics in 2020. Since then she has served as President and CEO of the Hermès Parfum et Beauté division.
The goal of the promotions is to “enrich the Executive Committee with new people and knowledge,” the company said. The committee that is responsible for the “strategic management” of the fashion house will have eleven instead of the previous nine executives.
