Breda presenter Herman van der Zandt said goodbye to the NOS Sportjournaal on Friday evening. He kept his farewell speech short, but he did say that he would miss his colleagues incredibly.
“Thanks to all the great NOS colleagues from the sport with whom I was able to spend these years. And I will miss you incredibly,” the presenter concluded his news.
Shortly before he had announced that Winfried Baijens would present the late broadcast on his own. “Because this is my last one and the boss lets me go home early.”
The smartest person
Van der Zandt has worked at NOS since 2001. Early next year he will start working at KRO-NCRV, where he will present, among other things, De Slimste Mens from 2025.
In De Slimste Mens, famous Dutch people answer questions about a wide variety of topics during a number of rounds. In recent years, the program has emerged as one of the most watched programs on Dutch television.
