Here you can hand in Sinterklaas presents for children who are less fortunate

Sinterklaas does not visit every child in Zoetermeer (as often). To ensure that every child receives a Sinterklaas gift is Sintvoorieder1 set up. Next week you can therefore hand in your presents for someone else.

Every year, this foundation collects and packages thousands of presents to ensure that children, for whom there is no money for a gift at home, can still experience a wonderful Sinterklaas.

Wrapping gifts for Sinterklaas

This year the foundation hopes to make 30,000 children throughout the Netherlands happy with a gift package. To achieve this, a lot of toys are needed, but also volunteers to wrap all the parcels beautifully in Sinterklaas paper. A group of employees from indebuurt helped out for a day (around Easter).

Collection of Sinterklaas gifts

Last year, no fewer than 47,459 gifts were collected. This made 22,680 children happy. Even after the collection, presents continued to arrive (and continue to arrive). And to make 30,000 children happy this year, a collection is being organized in the library on the Spui in the city center of The Hague.

From Monday November 20 to Friday November 24 you can donate a gift between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. at the CKC. You will find the CKC at Leidsewallen 80. The presents do not have to be wrapped so that the Sintvoorieder1 team can see which age they are suitable for.
