The calm before the storm? There is a picture on Twitter showing Till Lindemann before a Rammstein concert on the stage of the Berlin Olympic Stadium. It is unclear whether the photo is up-to-date – it is possible that it was taken in previous years when the band was performing in Berlin. The photo was posted on a fan account, not on the band’s social media channels or Lindemann’s Instagram channel. Starting today, Saturday (July 15), Rammstein will be performing three concerts in the German capital.

Rammstein have been severely criticized since Pentecost Sunday, since Shelby Lynn addressed allegations against the Rammstein camp. The 60-year-old has been accused of abusive behavior, which he denies. Record company and book publisher pause the cooperation. The Berlin public prosecutor’s office is investigating against Lindemann.

There is a petition against the Rammstein concerts and a demonstration against the pyro rockers’ performances is expected. It could crash on the grounds of the Olympic Park in Berlin-Charlottenburg.

The Olympic Stadium itself has issued a few tips and hints for the concert on Saturday: Since temperatures of around 37 degrees Celsius are to be expected today (July 15th), visitors are advised to bring protective hats and sunscreen. The venue also allows non-alcoholic beverages to be brought in in beverage cartons or PET bottles. The containers can also be filled up on site at the toilet facilities so that all guests can drink enough before and during the show. Sunday is expected to be less hot, but still expect temperatures between 27 and 30 degrees.

Rammstein: No after-show party on the premises

As previously announced, no after-show party for Rammstein may take place on the grounds of the Olympic Stadium. This decision was made based on the allegations against Till Lindemann. Visitors to the show should also know that protesters have announced that they will speak out loudly against the planned Rammstein concerts.
