The Beatles’ song “Here, There and Everywhere” has received a new animated music video. It will be released as part of the re-release of Revolver, the Beatles’ seventh studio album.
The animated video is based on the style of the animated classic “Yellow Submarine”. The Beatles walk – here, there and everywhere – through colorful backdrops, such as recording studios, press conferences and hotel rooms. A colorful dancer appears to them again and again. It’s meant to stand for inspiration and creative freedom, says Richard Barnett of animation studio Trunk Animation, which created the video.
Paul McCartney wrote “Here, There and Everywhere”. In his biography, Many Years from Now, he says the song is one of his favorite tracks. The inspiration for writing the song came from the Beach Boys’ “God Only Knows”.
The album “Revolver” was first released in 1966. In 2022 a deluxe edition was released on which the tracks were remixed. New animated music videos of the songs “Taxman” and “I’m Only Sleeping” were also released as part of the re-release.
The box is available in different sets since October 28th.
