According to Iltalehti’s information from Switzerland, the goalkeeper Jussi Olkinuoran the new team is Geneve-Servette.
The Pelicans announced on Monday that Olkinuora will leave the club. According to the release, the 33-year-old goalkeeper will continue his season in Switzerland.
– There was an international clause in my contract, which I used, because playing in Switzerland has been a goal for a long time, Olkinuora says in the Pelicans’ press release.
Geneve-Servette, which is seventh in the series, has not yet confirmed the transfer.
Geneva needs a new goalkeeper, because the team’s number one cashier Robert Mayer was injured, Iltalehte is told from Switzerland.

If Olkinuora moves to Geneva, he will get to play with several Finnish star players. NHL veteran Sami Vatanen and Julius Honka led the team’s defense.
