Christmas 2022 is already over, so what to do with the Christmas tree? Of course you can leave it for a while or give the tree with root ball a spot in the garden. At the beginning of January you can also hand in your Christmas tree at a collection point in the area.

In previous years, our discarded Christmas trees were collected by the municipality. Super handy, but this was only done in corona time to prevent too many people together. Now we have to hand in the Christmas tree itself, where you have a chance to win a nice prize.
Throughout the city there are collection points where you can hand in the Christmas tree on Saturday 7 January. Do this between 1pm and 4pm at these locations:
- Noordhoven
Lijnbaan, between gymnasium and Albert Heijn - Seghwaert
Partridge field, parking lot behind the Leidsewallen shopping center
Gaarddreef, at the Australiweg viaduct - Buytenwegh De Leyens
Hitchcock strip 24, Ora et Labora
César Franckrode, at Muzieklaan - Village
Piet Heinplein, parking lot - Three-man polder
Clauslaan, school car park - Lake view
Eesterwaard, parking lot under the railway - Rokkeveen
Shopping center De Vlieger, parking lot (Groen-blauwlaan)
Rokkeveen shopping center, parking lot (side Samanthagang)
Ogeahout (side Houtsingel) - Oosterheem
Hodenpijlstraat, Multifunctional Center
Lenastroom, at the grassy area near the children’s playground
Shetland, at the tunnel under the Randstadrail stop
