Here Erwin Bach collects the funeral wreaths for Tina Turner

Tina Turner passed away on Wednesday (May 24) at the age of 83. About a week later, her widower Erwin Bach went public, perhaps for the first time since the death of the “Queen of Rock and Roll”. The 67-year-old didn’t speak, but he went to the gates of their shared villa on Lake Zurich in Switzerland.

It is not known whether the photographers left Bach alone, but in any case he walked to the entrance to the property in Küsnacht, dressed in dark clothes and wearing sunglasses – there, Turner fans, funeral wreaths, flowers and letters, but also Buddhist scarves (Tina Turner was a Buddhist ) laid down to commemorate the singer.

Bach, who is now 67, had known Turner for around 40 years, and the musician and manager had a relationship followed by marriage for 30 years. Bach even donated a kidney to Turner, about whom she said “He is my knight, my prince and my king”.

The photos show Bach collecting bouquets and reading prayer cards. As far as is known, the funeral should take place in a small circle. The photos by Erwin Bach Is there … here.
