Here Berlin is building a huge office complex very close to the water

An office complex for 2000 jobs is being built on the banks of the Neukölln shipping canal.

In the vicinity of the Estrel Tower (175 m, under construction), another major project is taking shape on the site of the former Griessmühle pasta factory: an office complex for 2,000 jobs. The name: SHED (German barrack, shed).

Directly on the banks of the shipping canal, directly at the Sonnenallee S-Bahn station. So just a minute’s walk for the approximately 3,500 students of the international private university (University of Applied Sciences), which has already secured 13,000 m² here as the largest tenant and is expected to move in in August 2023.

Investor Dereco is erecting four very different buildings on a 300-meter-long stretch of shore. The roofs are partially equipped with photovoltaic modules. 111 parking spaces are currently being built in an underground car park and equipped with e-charging stations. After all, the A 100 is in front of the door.
