In the men’s Superpesis finals, the familiar success clubs Sotkamon Jymy and Vimpelin Veto meet.
Both semifinal pairs were decided in the fourth matches on Tuesday. Sotkamo defeated this season’s sensational team Kempeleen Kiri on the away field 1–0 (3–3, 4–0) and Vimpeli Manse PP in Tampere also 1–0 (10–3, 3–3). So the match wins for Vimpel and Sotkamo 3–1.
The finals start on Saturday in Vimpel, and the series will be played in the best-of-five format, just like the semi-finals.
Based on the regular season, the final pair was expected, as Vimpeli won the regular season with 71 points. Sotkamo, which collected 62 points, was second, ten points behind third-placed Kouvola.
