Black Friday is coming up next Friday.
Iltalehti asked the big retail chains which products they believe will be successful in their Black Friday campaigns. You can see a product-specific listing at the end of the article.
Sales director of K-Citymarket Samuli Nymanin according to the chain’s consumers, coffee, fish and fruit and vegetable offers are particularly interesting at the moment.
– Various delicacy products are also of interest to consumers, such as snacks, sweets, ice creams and drinks. For example, coffee, soft drinks, ice cream, minced meat, fruit, vegetables and sweets are coming to K-Citymarket as Black Friday offers, Nyman says.
According to Nyman, the importance of offers has become even more important for the chain’s customers.
– Black Friday seems to really interest our customers. It has become an important campaign that customers are waiting for, says Nyman.
Preparing for winter
The S group predicts that Black Friday’s hits will include preparations for the crisis winter and foodstuffs.
The chain claims that its hit products are, among other things, discount sweatpants and back-up power stations, the demand for which has increased during the winter.
– Many people are acquiring these types of precautions, and the discounts on them will certainly be welcome, says Prisma’s home and entertainment sales manager Matti Viitanen says the company in the bulletin.
The S group also believes that the discount period plays an even more important role for consumers.
– The price development caused by the current world situation makes it even more important that we can bring different products to a wider range of discounts, says Viitanen.
– Even though consumer electronics are still a big part of Black Friday, the discounts are spreading more and more through the entire selection of convenience stores, he continues.
Grocery Black Friday offers will be continued in Prisms after last year’s pilot.
– We predict coffee, soft drinks, ice cream, detergents and candy boxes as this year’s Black Friday hits on the grocery side, says the sales manager of the S group’s convenience store Nina Paavilainen.
