The Swedish textile group Hennes & Mauritz AB is filling another key position.
On Friday, the parent company of brands such as H&M, Cos, Monki, Weekday, & Other Stories and Arket announced that Åsa Agebäck will take over the post of Chief HR Officer (CHRO) on March 1. The current head of human resources at the H&M retail chain is succeeding Lucas Seifert, who wants to dedicate himself to new tasks outside the corporate group.
In her future role, Agebäck will be part of the group’s management team and will report directly to CEO Daniel Ervér, who has only been in office since the end of January. Even after her promotion, she will continue to be responsible for H&M’s human resources. Her current position as Global Head of HR at H&M will therefore not be filled.
