Henk Krol, known as a hopping politician, lashes out at Linda de Mol’s daughter. He thinks that Noa Vahle suddenly relies far too much on her famous mother. “Unwise.”
It is a gigantic PR blunder by Noa Vahle: she started at the end of last year – just when the wheelbarrow criticism of her had subsided a bit – with a very strange Miss Nepotism-like act. She is suddenly profiling herself very exaggeratedly as the daughter of Linda de Mol, while as a nepobaby you should stay away from that.
On their own
Nowadays it is more sensitive than ever: rich children who only get all kinds of privileged positions because of their famous father or mother, in Noa’s case within the company of uncle John de Mol. Of course, there is nothing fair about her suddenly becoming a sports reporter without any experience, but at least she is doing a nice job.
What is very unwise is that Noa has suddenly become the figurehead of mom Linda’s charity, that she gives an interview to mom Linda’s magazine and that she appears in mom Linda’s show on New Year’s Eve. What does Noah want now? That people keep seeing her as a fake baby? Or does she just want to stand on her own two feet?
Henk critical
Henk Krol is critical when Story asks him for his opinion about Noa. The magazine asks him: “Johan Derksen recently criticized Noa Vahle. He said: ‘Then you get that lame De Mol thing again, they help each other.’ Does Noa portray herself too much as Linda de Mol’s daughter?”
Henk answers as part of Story’s panel of prominent figures: “Yes. I admired her. Being proud of your mother is right, but profiling it in this way is unwise.”
Wheelbarrow
Ronnie Tober, also part of that panel, is pro-Noa. He says, “No. Like many other famous families, she had a wheelbarrow and then she has proven herself very well.”
And Saskia and Serge say, in unison: “No. She probably suffers more from Linda’s fame than she benefits from it. She really has a lot of talent.”
