“Arie said no at first”, Henk remembers from the first meeting. Later he noticed more doubt and finally it became one sale, on one condition: he had to buy Arie’s egg trolley. “That’s how smart he was,” realizes Henk.
“And the nice thing is”, Henk continues. “It has a license plate, so I can drive it, but not faster than 20 kilometers per hour. So I can take the grandchildren to primary school in Marsdijk with this, haha.”
The bus will soon be given a good makeover to restore the vehicle to its former glory. Henk hopes that he will at least be ‘technically 100 percent’ again. “Then we’ll see what we do.”
