Jorrit Hendrix leaves immediately for Fortuna Düsseldorf and signs a contract until mid-2023. The midfielder has been rented by Feyenoord from Spartak Moscow since January. Mark Diemers also leaves the Rotterdam team and leaves for FC Emmen on a rental basis.
Hendrix played fourteen matches at Feyenoord in six months, in which he was accurate once. The 27-year-old midfielder played five games for the Rotterdam team during the Conference League.
Hendrix made his Eredivisie debut for PSV in 2013. In the winter of 2021, after 173 league matches, he made the switch to Spartak Moscow, where he made 22 appearances in his first year.
Hendrix is happy with his move to the German club and is looking forward to his first home game. “In Dusseldorf, I have the chance to make a lot of minutes at a big club. I already know the city and went to a match in the stadium, the atmosphere was great.”
Diemers on a rental basis to FC Emmen
Mark Diemers will play for FC Emmen for the rest of the season. The 28-year-old midfielder was leased to Hannover 96 last season and has a contract in De Kuip until mid-2023.
Diemers has played a total of 145 Eredivisie matches in which he scored twenty times. The experienced midfielder previously played for SC Cambuur, FC Utrecht, De Graafschap and Fortuna Sittard. The born Frisian played 42 matches in the shirt of Feyenoord.
Ronald Lubbers, the chairman of FC Emmen, is happy with the arrival of Diemers. “Mark is the attacking reinforcement we were looking for. In addition, he is multifunctional, he has shown that at Feyenoord and Hanover.”
