In Gieterveen, the police this morning rounded up a hemp nursery, which is out of action, and a working hemp dryer. In total, the police seized about 30 kilograms of cannabis.
The power was also tapped. The grid operator reports the theft of electricity.
The 55-year-old resident has been arrested. In addition to an official report from the nursery and drying plant, the man receives an additional charge for the stolen electricity. Police do not rule out multiple arrests.
