The police discovered a cannabis nursery on the Verlengde Spoorstraat in Emmen this morning. A suspect has been arrested.
According to an initial estimate by the agents, there were about 10 to 15 kilos of cannabis plants in the warehouse. There were also hundreds of containers where plants still had to be sown or harvested.
The raid was made around 09:30 by a police arrest team. The building has now been cordoned off with tape and forensic detectives are conducting a trace investigation.
