Helmond Sport misses profit in The Hague, important victory FC Eindhoven

FC Eindhoven has booked an important victory in the battle for a place in the top eight of the Kitchen Champion Division. The team beat visiting Jong FC Utrecht 2-0 on Friday evening.

Helmond Sport seemed to win this competition from ADO Den Haag for the second time, but gave up a lead twice. In the Residence it became 2-2. FC Den Bosch and TOP Oss, both in their own stadium, and Jong PSV, playing away, were left with nothing from the 35th round.

FC Eindhoven – Jong FC Utrecht 2-0
In the last six matches, FC Eindhoven had only won once. The team of trainer Rob Penders had little to fear from Jong FC Utrecht. Naoufal Bannis opened the score in the 6th minute, Charles-Andreas Brym made it 2-0 in the 24th minute.

ADO The Hague – Helmond Sport 2-2
Martijn Kaars has once again been important for Helmond Sport. The striker made his twelfth league goal in the 62nd minute. That seemed to be decisive, because that made it 1-2. TOP Oss – Almere City FC 0-5
TOP Oss was totally unable to cope with sub-topper Almere City FC. It became 0-5 by Almere goals from Anthony Limbombe (32. and 43.), Álvaro Pena Herrero (61.), Rajiv van La Parra (80.) and Jeredy Hilterman (89., penalty kick). Four players from the home club were substituted at halftime, but that also did not help.

FC Den Bosch – Telstar 0-1
FC Den Bosch also had little to say in the home match against Telstar. The only goal was scored by Anwar Bensabouh (14.). The inhabitants of Den Bosch kept the damage limited with a lot of luck and wisdom.

Heracles Almelo – Young PSV 3-0
At halftime Jong PSV already faced a 2-0 deficit. That was not necessary, because the Eindhoven promises were given various opportunities. However, they remained unused, even striker Jason van Duiven from Almelo was unable to score. With the 3-0 win, Heracles can celebrate promotion to the Eredivisie.
