Hélène Hesters wins BK in Moorslede

At 11 am the 68 participants were allowed to start their race in Moorslede. After nine laps of about 8.5 kilometers it was Helene Hesters from Ghent who crossed the line first. Jules Hesters’ sister was the most active in the competition. She had already attacked on the first lap, then again halfway through, and on the final lap she had enough left for the decisive attack. The Van Moer Logistics rider never got more than ten seconds, but she held up nicely for the sprinting peloton.

Anna Vanderaerden came in second, ahead of Xaydee Van Sinaey. Lani Wittevrongel was sixth.
