‘Hélène Hendriks has been missing out on tons of money at SBS 6 for years’

Patty Brard states that Hélène Hendriks will miss out on tons of money at SBS 6 in the coming years by signing at exactly the wrong time. “It saves a few thousand euros. Yes, I really think so.”

What bad timing: Hélène Hendriks negotiated the extension of her contract with SBS 6 just before the summer. The summer in which she achieved enormous success with De Oranjezomer, after which she has also achieved great success in recent weeks with De Oranjewinter. But that doesn’t help her financially.

Bad luck

Obviously, Hélène’s sky-high viewing figures could not be included in the negotiations and that is quite sad. Presenter Airen Mylene in Show news: “With her it is what you see is what you get, and what you get is pretty good. Salary negotiations… Yes, I mean: she is worth so much.”

Show expert Bart Ettekoven agrees, but: “She is unlucky that she did her salary negotiations for a new two- to three-year contract before last summer, so yes… That was also before De Oranjezomer, so in that respect just a bit too asked.”

For the money

It is unfortunate timing, says Bart. “For example, if she had had her salary negotiations next month, I think it would have turned out differently for her. But hey, I don’t think she really does it for the big money either. She should just do what she likes. It’s a nice bonus, of course.”

Patty Brard then responded fiercely: “Well, sorry, but those days are really over when you no longer do it for the money.”

Bart: “I don’t think it’s her motivation.”

Couple of tons

How much money is Hélène missing out on according to Patty? “I think it will make a difference of a few hundred thousand euros. Yes, I really think so.”

Airen: “I think so too.”

Patty: “For now, she is… Eva Jinek once scored around a million for a week, but no more than that, and she is always good for a million viewers, it has now become clear, so I think that really counts for a few ton.”

Jack and Rutger

According to Ronald Molendijk, it also depends on the guests at the table. “Isn’t it also related to the type of program and the guests who are there? I think Jack van Gelder fits perfectly there.”

Patty agrees. “And I’ve never liked Rutger Castricum, for example, and here he fits exactly into the format somehow.”
