Hélène Hendriks is almost transfer-free. Her contract expires next month and she has not yet reached a written agreement with Talpa about an extension.
Linda de Mol and Wendy van Dijk, move over. Talpa’s most beloved female TV star is by far Helen Hendriks. She was recently under fire for some easy-going statements about transgressive behavior, but she was soon idolized again by the mean statements of Hélène Hendriks-basher Stéphanie Hoogenberk.
Almost transfer free
After the final failure of HLF8, Hélène is currently mainly busy with sports television again. The presenter is also one of the regular guests of Today Inside. She was recently absent for a while due to the death of her father, but she is now fully involved again.
Despite her popularity, Hélène is almost transfer-free. She tells in the Inside today from yesterday evening: “My contract expires next month. No, in principle I have a verbal agreement to continue for another year, but we have nothing on paper yet.”
Another year
Where the men of Today Inside have signed up for two years, with an exclusive option for a third year, Hélène does not seem to want to go further than one year.
After next summer, there will be extremely little sport left at Talpa, because almost all important football will then go to competitor Ziggo Sport.
To Ziggo?
Will Helene also go to Ziggo? She has already had talks, she said in January. “I have thrown all my cards on the table, both at Talpa and Ziggo and then we will see what comes out in the end.”
She ultimately hopes for a combination with Talpa, so that she can continue to be seen in VI. “Yes. That is my preference, but yes: both parties must of course want that.”
