130,000 visitors are expected at the concert that takes place in the Sonderfreifläche An Der Messe in Munich. At the moment, about 30 to 40,000 people have been evacuated in exhibition halls to warm up. Many of them would be frustrated because they had to come from far to attend the concert. In the meantime, they would be allowed to return to the (soaking) festival site.
German weather forecaster Dr. Karsten Brandt is positive. “Tonight the clouds will decrease and it will be dry during the concert. The chance of rain after 8 p.m. drops to 20 percent,” says Brandt.
