Helene Fischer ignited real pop fireworks again in 2023 with her “Helene Fischer Show” after a three-year break. The festival was broadcast on December 25th, 2023 – there were lots of duets, for example with Shirin David and Nena. As always, the show was hotly debated on the internet.
Criticism of duet with Nena
As we have already reported here, the duet with Nena caused dissatisfaction among some viewers. The reason for this was Nena’s statements during the corona pandemic, which gave her the reputation of a “Sworn Berliner”. “It’s also a statement to sing with Nena,” says one user. Another sarcastically asks whether the pop singer and alleged conspiracy theorist Michael Wendler would appear as an encore. Another person spoke of “scratches in being a fan” and said it was a “no-go [sic!]“.
Of course, not everyone saw it that way.
Praise for Helene Fischer’s production
But of course there were other things to talk about… and lots of positive comments too. Many Twitter users praised the production.
The fact that there is – to put it with one X user – “not much chatter” is also seen as positive.
