Helene Fischer is one of the most successful musicians that this country has produced in recent decades. Their album and ticket sales are of international standard and are even noticed in the USA. Behind the figures, as can hardly be concealed, is also a lot of discipline and diligence.

And that’s not necessarily good for Helene Fischer. As the singer now confirmed in a conversation with the Swiss television SRF in the program “Gredig direct”, she was on the verge of burnout.

“Thank God I got the curve,” she said in the interview. “When you, as an artist, no longer really feel any emotions, when you find everything just exhausting, you have to be honest with yourself and step on the brakes.”

When asked if that was going in the direction of a burnout, the 38-year-old explained: “I was probably on the verge of it.”

A few years ago, Fischer, who rarely goes public with private matters, said that she had been tired and ill in the past. But she didn’t give any details. However, the pandemic phase gave her a chance to recharge her batteries and have more time for creativity.

Dare more personality

“I wanted to open the door a little bit and bring in a little more personality,” says the singer. After a major concert this year in Munich, Helene Fischer will go on a big tour in 2023. There are 70 concerts in Germany and other European countries on the pan.
