She is THE German mega star and on a mega tour! Helene Fischer (38) tears off 70 concerts on her current intoxication tour. On Tuesday evening the Berlin kick-off in the sold-out Mercedes-Benz Arena.

It is the first of five Berlin concerts by the hit queen. Dance, acrobatics, a gigantic live show! Five years after the last Berlin concert.

At 8:05 p.m., Helene Fischer floated into the arena from a huge ruby in a tight, red and black latex glitter body. The show begins as the first song is called. “From zero to 100”! Then “Exactly this feeling” – both songs from their current album “Rausch” (triple gold).

“Thank you for the sun: not only in our hearts, but also outside,” Helene Fischer greets her 11,000 fans in Berlin. They couldn’t screech louder with Billie Eilish or Justin Biber. Flawless, “Heartquake”: All text fixed. “I love finally doing what I’ve been missing for so long,” says Fischer. Her partner Thomas Seitel flew onto the stage for the song Hand in Hand. Together they hang from the rope while she sings. uh

Sing, dance, fly

Sometimes pop, sometimes cheesy. Some Cirque du Soleil, some rock concert, some fire show. For the song “Wounds” an artistic show that very few circuses offer. A singer who dances and flirts at the same time – and luckily doesn’t fall. The sound in the hall is surprisingly good. After about 1.5 hours there is a viewer-friendly 20-minute break. In the meantime, technicians push part of the stage across the hall.

After the break, things get puristic, almost intimate, on this small stage in the middle of the audience. The catchy tunes: “Hundred percent”, “And tomorrow morning I’ll kiss you awake”, “In the middle of paradise”, “Hell tomorrow morning”, “From here to infinity”, “With the wind”. Everything as an acoustic set, only accompanied by guitar, accordion and percussion. Unexpected goosebumps.

To their over-song “Atemlos”, the fishermen let themselves be whirled through the air on a robotic arm, the party hit Roller Coaster became a bass-heavy techno finale.

Around 120 costumes were tailored and 130 pairs of shoes designed for the show. 40 musicians, dancers and artists are on the stage. The team comes from 13 countries. Fischer: “I’m so proud of these boys and girls.” It’s a shame that the good live band was hidden behind an LED wall for most of the concert.

Tickets for the next concerts (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday) are available from EUR 69.90.
