Heleen van Royen would like to mediate in the family quarrel between Rachel and Roxeanne Hazes. She thinks she can seriously mean something like mediator. “I have a lot of experience in that.”
Roxeanne Hazes wants nothing more to do with her scandal mother Rachel. She has therefore even withdrawn from the lucrative Holland Zingt Hazes concerts. It was briefly touched upon yesterday in the talk show Today Inside, where Heleen van Royen sat at the table as the main guest.
Helen as a mediator
If it is up to Heleen, the Hazesjes have been at odds with each other for too long. “I would really like to mediate. I would really… I hereby offer myself as a mediator for the Hazes family. Seriously,” she says.
Johan Derksen doesn’t care. He would rather see the Hazesjes disappear from publicity. “Wouldn’t the Netherlands be a bit done with the whole Hazes family? I am harassed daily in the newspapers with all kinds of things. Then it’s the sister, then it’s him, then it’s the wife, then it’s the ex.”
‘Let go’
Remarkably enough, René van der Gijp has sympathy for the Hazes family. Strange, Johan thinks. “René, you are endearing about the Hazes family, but the son, the daughter and the wife… There is something wrong with everything. They say the craziest things about each other.”
Heleen: “No, there’s nothing wrong with that. Not at all. No no no. I really mean it. I think it’s a shame. Life is too short. It’s family: mother, daughter, son. They just have to be okay.”
Professionals
Johan does not think that Heleen is the right person to act as a mediator. “Don’t you think you should leave that to professionals, with all due respect?”
Heleen: “I have a lot of experience with disabled families myself, so I can talk about it very well and I think I could. I really offer myself, sincerely.”
