Heidi Suomi reveals which reality show she said no to

Host Heidi Suomi challenges herself in Survivors. He had been asked several times.

Presenter Heidi Finland competes in the new Survivor Finland season. Suomi tells how the mental side and playing influenced him.

– By this age, I have gained such self-awareness that I knew I was capable of playing. However, I thought that I would be more able to put those feelings aside and be a cold gambler. I kept trying to convince myself that this is a game – not real life, and nobody’s dignity is at stake, and it shouldn’t affect personal relationships, Suomi tells Iltalehte about her experiences.

Finland has been asked to participate in Survivors before, but now his schedule finally coincided with the production.

– I thought that I wouldn’t even be asked anymore when I have had to refuse so many times for reasons beyond my control or the trip has been cancelled.

Suomi says that Survivors has been one of her favorite formats. Has the favorite presenter answered the invitations to reality shows in the negative.

– I didn’t join the special forces. It’s so extreme, I wouldn’t have survived there. In this (Survivors) you can get by with so many other than physical aids. Of course, even in Special Forces, the mental side must be in order. Here you can play in another way, Suomi describes.

Get married in the summer

Finland hosts Radio Nova’s traffic program on Fridays and Sundays.

– At the turn of the year, I moved more into the padel business. That’s why I reduced the radio work, says Suomi.

She and her husband run a padel center in Hämeenlinna.

– The wedding went great. It was an absolutely wonderful day. The weather was favorable and people were in a wonderful mood. We didn’t have any of these traditional teasing wedding games, we had more parties, says Suomi.

The newly married couple will soon be heading for their honeymoon.

– We are leaving for a combined wedding and work trip at the turn of August and September. We are going to Spain to study padel things, how to play the sport where it is at its hottest, Suomi says.
