Foxell has had many health adversities since the shooting ten years ago. Foxell was shot in the abdomen. Injuries have had to be repaired nearly 60 times in ten years on the operating table.
In addition, Foxell has suffered from health problems ranging from sepsis to paralysis and cancer. Foxell had only been dating once since his injury, but the relationship broke down, causing him to feel unwell.
– I thought no one could care about me. Why would anyone want to be in a wheelchair if they could have a walking partner? Foxell tells Me Women.
Foxell became acquainted with Salin through a dating application and their chemistry was immediately encountered.
Salin says he wanted to explore Foxell in peace without googling his tough past.
