SC Heerenveen has signed Swedish midfielder Simon Olsson. The 24-year-old Olsson comes over from Elfsborg, where he played his entire career so far.
“He is a technically skilled, dynamic and creative midfielder with a good running ability to regularly appear in the opponent’s box. He did an excellent job at Elfsborg and was also embraced by the public because of his playing style. happy that he can show his qualities with us in the coming seasons,” said technical manager Ferry de Haan.
Olsson has signed for four seasons in Friesland, where Kees van Wonderen has recently become the trainer.
Heerenveen opens the season on Friday with a home game against Sparta Rotterdam.
