Heavy kitchen fire destroys apartment | Focus and WTV

The fire created a heavy smoke development that spread throughout the apartment. The apartment is located above a catering business that fortunately did not suffer smoke damage. The residents can no longer return to their apartment due to the fire and smoke damage. Mayor Peter Roose arrived on the scene and, together with the police, arranged emergency shelter for the affected family.

Due to the fire, Brugsesteenweg was closed for a while at the site of the intervention, so local detours had to be made.
