Four people were injured in a head-on collision between two cars in south-east Berlin on Wednesday afternoon.

One of the occupants was trapped in one of the cars and had to be freed, the police and fire department said.

According to the Berlin fire brigade, this person was seriously injured, the other three were seriously injured.

According to the police, the accident happened on Gosener Landstrasse in Müggelheim. A rescue helicopter was also deployed.
