Kian Fitz-Jim will not play in the remaining games of this season. The midfielder, who mainly plays in Jong Ajax, suffered an injury to the right ankle on Wednesday. It is expected that he will not be able to play football for at least three months.
The nineteen-year-old Amsterdammer will have surgery on his ankle in May. He has been playing at Ajax since the summer of 2019, before that he was in the youth academy of AFC and AZ, among others.
Fitz-Jim came to four matches for the first this season: two in the premier league and two in the KNVB Cup. For Jong Ajax he only missed three games this season, remarkably enough Fitz-Jim was missing against Jong PSV on Monday. He was suspended against the people of Eindhoven.
