Heavy collision in Steenkerke near Veurne

Two cars collided at an intersection between Steengracht-West and Alveringem. The car that drove along the Vaartstraat ended up on the crash barrier. The driver was taken to the hospital in Veurne. Two people were in the other car, but they were not injured.

Not the first time

Emergency services arrived on scene and the cars had to be towed away. The fire brigade had the necessary work to remove a large oil trail from the track. It is not a rarity, because in the past several cars drove into each other at the same intersection.
