The predicted first national heat wave of 2022 just missed the starting blocks on Monday. At reference point Uccle, the maximum temperature rose to 24.9 degrees Celsius at 4:20 PM. After a slight drop, the flare-up stopped at 24.8 degrees. That was learned from the RMI weather forecaster David Dehenauw.
