Heat: Swimming at the Bruges Coupure attracts

Locals from Bruges, tourists and children who are on sports camp, all come here to take a refreshing dip. “It’s the best place to swim in Bruges,” says Katiane Liekens of the sports department. The water is closely monitored and every effort is made to ensure that there are no blue-green algae. It gets crowded here, especially in the evening. You can swim up to eight hours.
