Spain has a new heat record for the month of December: 29.9 degrees in the southern coastal city of Malaga. This summer temperature is half a degree higher than the previous record of 29.4 degrees, which was measured thirteen years ago on December 10 near Granada, also in southern Spain, reports the national meteorological agency Aemet.
