Today, October 16, Cancer Day, throughout Flanders we commemorate the fight against the disease that affects more than 46,000 people every year. That’s an average of 130 new diagnoses per day, or more than five per hour. Patients, healthcare providers and sympathizers are also showing their solidarity and resilience in the Sint-Jozefs Hospital in Izegem. Actress Bianca Vanhaverbeke came to visit.
