Johan Derksen from Grolloo won the Golden Televizier Ring for the second time on Thursday evening with his colleagues Wilfred Genee and René van der Gijp. The men won the most important Dutch television prize with their program with 74 percent of the votes Today Inside. They previously won the Ring in 2011, with their Voetbal International program.
Former winners or similar spin-offs are not actually allowed to win the prize again, but the organization has made an exception for the sixtieth presentation of the TV prize. Martijn Krabbé is the winner of the Televizier-Ring Presenter. Krabbé was nominated for the Televizier-Ring Presentator for the first time in his career. In this category he defeated Wilfred Genee and Hélène Hendriks, who received the prize in 2023. The 57-year-old presenter announced in January that he has metastatic lung cancer and is not getting better.
