The average incidence of infections in Spain in the last 14 days in people over 60 years of age decreases slightly, standing at 185.55 cases per 100,000 inhabitants
The Ministry of Health has registered this Friday, with data provided by the autonomous communities, 17,875 new cases of coronavirus, of which 11,420 have occurred in people over 60 years of age, which brings the total number of infections in Spain to 13,529,643 since the start of the pandemic.
The current average incidence of infections in Spain in the last 14 days in people over 60 years of age has decreased slightly, standing at 185.55 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, compared to the 220.14 notified last Friday.
As for the deceased by Covid-19, there have been 161 more, of which 59 have been reported in the last week. This makes the global death toll from coronavirus in Spain rise to 115,239 people.
Currently there 3,363 patients admitted by Covid-19 throughout Spain (compared to 3,337 last week) and 195 in an ICU (188 were reported last Friday). The occupancy rate of beds occupied by coronavirus stands at 2.7 percent (the same as last week) and in ICUs at 2.23 percent (compared to 2.15% last Friday).
