The cabinet sets the calculation premium for the compulsory basic insurance every year. Health insurers may not exceed this bandwidth. Health insurers are allowed to decide for themselves whether they will increase the premium for health insurance by 10 euros or remain below that amount. They could then use their reserves.
The premium this year is 127 euros and could come out at 137 euros. The official figures will be released on Prinsjesdag.
