The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN) has issued a alert for the presence of salmonella in a product of the Hacendado brand: neutral gelatin in sheets of twelve units.
This is lot A11054/01 with best before date 04.27.2027 of the Hacendado brand. At the moment there is no record of any case associated with this alert in Spain, but it has been marketed in the State and AESAN itself has recommended not consuming it in any case.

The information has been transferred to the competent authorities of the autonomous communities through the Coordinated System for the Rapid Exchange of Information (SCIRI) and to the Services of the European Commission through the European Food Alert Network (RASFF), in order to to verify the recall of affected products of marketing channels.
