Two cars collided tonight on the Vreelandseweg (N201) near Kortenhoef. Three people were taken to hospital with unknown injuries, a police spokesperson said. The road is temporarily closed while the accident is investigated.
The accident happened around 8:15 p.m. There were two people in one car and one person in the other. All three people involved were taken to hospital.
This is a serious accident. In addition to the ambulance, the fire brigade and a Mobile Medical Trauma Team (MMT) also arrived on site. The accident is currently under investigation and the road has been temporarily closed.
