A car and a van collided head-on on the Jan van Cuijkdijk in Grave. This is said to have happened after the car veered off the side of the road. Both vehicles ended up at the bottom of the dike after the crash.
The driver of the car was seriously injured. That is why an air ambulance was called. The driver was taken to the Radboudumc in Nijmegen under the supervision of the trauma doctor. The driver of the van suffered a broken collarbone, police said.
The road will be closed until at least ten o’clock on Wednesday evening for clearing work.
