Four people were injured in a head-on collision between two passenger cars on Karel Doormanweg near Den Helder. The N9 was closed for hours in both directions due to a police investigation, but has since been reopened.
This afternoon around 4 p.m. two passenger cars collided head-on on the N9 near Den Helder. A third car was damaged by flying car debris from the collision.
The damage from the collision is enormous, so the road is closed to traffic in both directions. A police spokesman said four people were taken to hospital by ambulance with unknown injuries. “The road will remain closed for the time being due to the police investigation.”
