A pretty surprising Carrièremove for the Lost Simon Keizer lost: he will work as a presenter on NPO 1, confirms Avrotros after reporting from Tina Nijkamp.
TV authority Tina Nijkamp provides ‘big television news’ on this sunny summer day, as she calls it. “There is a comeback from someone, well, I think we would not have seen that coming when I name the name, namely Simon van Nick & Simon. He will present a television program,” she reveals in Tina’s TV UPDATE.
Simon as a NPO star
And not just like that, Tina continues. “But that will be one on NPO 1 on Saturday evening. He will present the program forgotten songs there and I believe that they are four episodes. It is then about that forgotten songs, for example from Guus Meeuwis or other great artists who are there, will be played by a other artist.”
She continues: “So actually songs that we don’t know very well from that artist, they are then fulfilled by another artist. That is what I have understood. So it is called forgotten songs. And it will be seen on NPO1 this fall on Saturday night. Well, and that is a comeback for Simon.”

After Nick & Simon’s break, Nick Schilder was still in the spotlight. “He is working well as a solo artist. He has already had a number of hits. Simon was a bit quiet. He did a theater tour, I think I still recorded a single with Paul de Leeuw, but we didn’t really hear from him.”
“So now he really makes a comeback as a television presenter on NPO 1. (…) A new career perhaps. And perhaps, yes, after that more programs on NPO 1. Maybe a whole new NPO star in the making …”
