Country artist David Ritschard collapsed on stage in the live Allsång på Skansen program on Tuesday.
The host of the program Pernilla Wahlgren now tells TV4 how scary the whole situation was.
– The most unpleasant thing was that he (David) had his eyes completely open, it was unreal, Pernilla described.

– I couldn’t get in touch with him. I have now realized that it can pass out even with its eyes open, and that he has passed out before.
David had performed his song Duplantis Blue, after which Wahlgren interviewed him. Pernilla and David were supposed to sing evergreen together with the audience Jag hade en gång en båtbut David suddenly began to sway on stage, and soon collapsed on his back.
– It was really sad. I was scared when he collapsed. At first I thought he just lost his balance so I tried to help him up. Then I saw that he was unconscious, Wahlgren told TV4’s Efter fem program.
TV viewers did not see how the first responders carried and treated David first on the stage and then carried away on a stretcher. Of course, the audience of many thousands who were there saw the whole dramatic situation.
Pernilla quickly received information on her earbud that David was feeling better, so the program could continue.
