The health of Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan (69) is not doing well. He cancels one event after another, while there are presidential elections in less than three weeks. That feeds rumors of poisoning, a heart attack or cancer. Exaggerated, say experts — and Erdogan has often survived reports of his death. But politically he is weaker than ever and he can really lose his power now.
