The House of Schwarzkopf in Berlin won the concept store category for its “innovative store concept with professional service” in the hairdressing salon, which extends over 270 square meters and two levels. The jury also praised the brand experience, which was created through insight into the brand’s history and personalized offers such as the make-over mirror.
The remaining three areas featured an exhibition area designed in an apartment style (Schweigert furniture store in the Living category) and the timber-framed pilot store Rewe Green Farming in Wiesbaden with its own roof farm as a “flagship for sustainability”.
The motherland parent company in Hamburg won the special prize for its gourmet world with delicacies from 200 local manufacturers in an outstanding store design and a concept that is strongly focused on regionality. “The flagship store shows the added value of the interaction of delicatessen, gastronomy and workspace”, the jury justified their decision.
